I am French and since I was little I am fond of ballet. I joined the celebrated Ballet School \ »Centre de Danse International Rosella Hightower\ » in Cannes at the age of 12 where I studied until my first contract as a professional dancer at the age of 16. I toured several French companies, ending up by pure chance in Florence, where I joined the Compagnia del Balletto di Toscana. In 1995 I won the course at the Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino where I entered as a Soloist Dancer until retirement age. Towards the end of my career as a dancer I began to become passionate about the practice of yoga and I began to attend several courses to be able to try to convey the benefits of yoga.I believe that dance, in the end, is a delicate balance between perfection and beauty and how yoga aims to achieve full harmony between body and soul.
In my Yoga lessons we will get to know better our body, our emotions; working on our breathing \ »our vital energy\ » to make our mind more stable strong quiet, awakening our physical and mental potentials!
Type of Yoga: Hatha Yoga
Who should attend?
The course is open to all, even beginners.
What are the benefits?
A flowing practice of Hatha Yoga in which, with the breath, we reach an apical pose to arrive at the most introspective part with Yin Yoga before surrendering to the final relaxation. Yoga helps us to get rid of that heavy feeling of our daily life, of our tensions that turn into blockages. In my classes, I like to focus on our emotional knots, our physical and mental rigidities.
When to attend my classes :
– Every MONDAY from 7pm to 7.50pm in french
